Md. Tanjir Omor Faruq, an Entrepreneur & Human Rights Activist was born in 28th August 1988 at Dhaka. He is the youngest son of Mr. Tofazzal Hossain Bhuyian and Mrs. Aleya Begum. His father is a retired service holder and mother is a house wife. He passed his S.S.C. examination from Mohammadpur Govt. High School & H.S.C. from Dhaka City College. He was known as a brilliant student from his school life. He was the first student to get GPA 5 in business studies group from his school. After H.S.C. he started the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). But he never believed in degree-based learning rather he has always been interested to learn everything which interests him or helped him further his career. He has always been eager to enlarge his knowledge, so he has completed courses which includes neuroscience, human rights even economics. He completed “Fundamentals of Neuroscience, Part 1: The Electrical Properties of the Neuron” from HarvardX (an online learning initiative of Harvard University), “From Poverty to Prosperity: Understanding Economic Development” from OxfordX, (an online learning initiative of University of Oxford, “Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles” from HarvardX, “Religion, Conflict and Peace” from HarvardX and many more. He is a very determined, sharp, self-confident, charismatic, humane and a very struggling person from his childhood. He has great excellence in business and organizational management, team building, and leading. He is an exceptional leader with charismatic personality and everlasting vision for growth and excellency. He is an international member of National Fire Protection Association - NFPA (USA), Member of Bangladesh Indenting Agents' Association, and a member or Electronics Safety & Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB), member of Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber Of Commerce & Industries (BMCCI), member of Entrepreneurs Club of Bangladesh (EClub), member of Uttara Model Club Ltd. (UMCL), member of Rotary Club of Mirpur Central, Former Local Director of Junior Chamber International Bangladesh (JCI). The Grasshopper Group of Companies is the brainchild of Him and his business partner M. Mahmudur Rashid. He is the Group Chairman of Grasshopper Group.

M. Mahmudur Rashid was born in 2nd September 1990 at Dhaka. His father Late Professor Md. Harun-Or-Rashid was the Head of English Department of Mohammadpur Central University College and mother Mrs. Hamida Begum is a home maker. He is married to Ms. Farhia Nowrin. He passed his S.S.C examination from Mohammadpur Govt. High School & H.S.C from Dhaka Commerce College. In his school life he served Bangladesh Youth Red Crescent Society and Bangladesh National Cadet Core (BNCC). During his college life he involved in business. He is very self-confident, dynamic and visionary person from his childhood. In 2017 he has been selected as a Local President of JCI Dhaka Entrepreneurs, JCI Bangladesh, elected as a Director & Joint Secretary of Electronics Safety and Security Association of Bangladesh (ESSAB). In 2019 he has been elected as a President (2021-22) of Rotary Club of Mirpur Central and elected as a Director of Bangladesh Indenting Agents’ Association (BIAA). In the same year he was also appointed as a Convener of International Fire, Safety and Security Expo - IFSSE 2019 at Dhaka. He studied marketing and graduated from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) and completed his MBA from United International University. He did ‘LCMC - Leadership Certificate in Managerial Communication’ from IBA, University of Dhaka. He got professional training on ‘Fire Safety Management'’ from Bureau Veritas, ‘Communication Skills Development’ from Rapport Bangladesh Ltd. ‘Fire Safety Awareness Training Course' from WRAP, "Modern HR Practice For Organizational Profitability" from Business Express, "Leather Goods Design and Manufacture" from Leather Research Center and ‘Rescue and Evacuation’ From Bangladesh Red Crescent Society. He is an international member of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) of U.S.A, member of Bangladesh Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BMCCI), member of Bangladesh Pipe & Tube Well Merchant Association (BPTMA), member of Entrepreneurs Club of Bangladesh (EClub), member of Uttara Model Club Ltd. (UMCL), General Body member and actively serving several standing committees of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI). He is one of the founders of The Grasshopper Group of Companies and designated as a Group Managing Director.
